Bishop Sutton U18s 1 - 0 Chard TownU18s
This match turned into a battle across the pitch with both teams rarely showing any quality and no cutting edge, Sutton had the better chances but could not convert, Sutton worked hard and managed to score the winner on 60 minutes with a 30 yard shot from Aaron Thorne which the Town keeper just could not quite get a full hand on before it hit the net. Sutton need to improve rapidly if they are going to finish the season at the top of the table where they have been so far all season to date.
Bishop Sutton U18s 0 - 2 Tiverton Town U18s
It was always going to be a difficult task for Sutton as they had 5 players missing and could only muster up one substitute, Sutton looked shapeless for long spells and Tiverton took advantage but did not create too many chances but they did go 2-0 up before half time. Sutton came out in the second half with more energy and pushed Tiverton back but could not create any clear chances, Sutton keeper Macfarlane was outstanding throughout the match. Sutton will travel down to Tiverton on Monday in the League quarter final where they will be looking to do themselves justice.
Bishop Sutton U18s 4 - 2 Radstock Town U18s
Sutton started this match in 1st gear but was still able to go a goal up after 5 minutes with strike by Leon Britton, but went to sleep minutes after when Radstock scored an easy goal with the Sutton defence nowhere to be seen. Sutton then woke up and got their shape and really turned on the style, Ben Bament who was making his debut scored his first goal on 15 minutes to put Sutton back in the lead, Leon Britton scored his second on 30 minutes, Sutton looked like a team who is at the top of the league at this point and Town just could not cope, Ben Bament stepped and score his second 40 minutes to send his team in 4-1 up at half time.
Sutton were a different team in the second half as they lost their shape and only showed some quality at times, Radstock did not give up and started to push forward and for long spells kept Sutton penned back but did not have the quality in the last quarter, however they did score again after another gifted goal by the Sutton defence.
