This picture was taken on Thursday 26th August at the annual Joe Dymond-Williams memorial match which was played at Lakeview. Although Sutton won the match 2-0, the important thing was that both teams pictured above played a great game of football in the true spirit of the game and one which Joe would of been proud.
At the end of the match, Joe’s dad, John Williams presented Sutton’s Leon Britton with the Joe’s memorial cup. Leon was a very good friend of Joe and played together for years as younger lads.
A raffle draw was done on the evening and £140 was raised for the Rainbow Centre for children which is a chosen charity by Joe’s family.
